About Exposure Essence

Exposure Essence is a small creative team based in Murfreesboro, TN. We're not a production company with a shot list and a turnaround quota. We're people who genuinely love people. We ask good questions, stick around, and wait for the moment everyone else missed. Whether it's a wedding, a portrait session, or a brand campaign, the work is the same: find what's real, and don't miss it.

"I didn't start with a business plan. I started with a camera and an obsession with noticing things most people walk past."

Street photography taught me timing, restraint, and how much story can live in a small moment. Over time that turned into photographing people I care about, then families, couples, and full wedding days. Video came the same way — first as a way to hold onto movement, voice, and atmosphere, then as something I kept reaching for. Keep it clean. Keep it honest. Let the moment do the heavy lifting.

"When there's a camera in my hand, I'm a different kind of confident."

Photography was just the thing I always had on me — my camera at high school games, at prom, at graduation. After college it stopped being a hobby. It became a calling, and a ministry I don't take lightly. What I'm after goes past the lens: photos that are authentic to you, your story told with honesty and emotion. I'm not only invested in how the images turn out. I'm invested in you.

"I stay broad on purpose. Make sure the work gets seen by the right people."

I'm from McMinnville. Spent most of my working life in coffee — an industry that runs on relationships, consistency, and knowing what people need before they ask. That translated naturally into marketing. Spent the last year as a Marketing Manager working with agents at SimpliHome on brand and social. At Exposure Essence I focus on social content and brand management.

"Picked up my first camera at 13. What started as curiosity turned into something I keep coming back to."

Based in Fosterville near Bell Buckle. I took two years of high-school photography through a local tutorial program — that's where I started treating it like a craft, not just a hobby. Grown into real estate work because I enjoy capturing spaces that show both function and design. Also drawn to commercial and social-first content. Outside of photography: mountain biking, piano, and reading.
